Every year the City of Perth fund a series of short films produced by the graduates of the Western Australia Screen Academy. Having worked with the students before I was asked to come onboard and production designer and eventually became the entire art department. The film is a quirky representation of Jolene- a spoon thief It tells the tale of her habit and a subsequent encounter with barista and Neighbor Doug. The story follows the development of their relationship and the quirky obsessions they have which at first embarrass them but ultimately bring them together.
